LuCre8z Original · Portfolio System · Web Experience
Building a multidisciplinary digital experience.
One portfolio. Multiple audiences. A clearer path through the work.
The LuCre8z website was developed as a live demonstration of how a multidisciplinary creative technology studio can make strategy, product thinking, creative direction and execution legible to clients, collaborators and hiring teams.

LuCre8z owns the brand, content and experience being presented. This project documents the design and development of the portfolio itself; it is not a claim that every featured project is client work or that every concept is production-ready.
01 / The challenge
Make range feel coherent.
LuCre8z spans creative strategy, websites, digital products, original IP, brand systems, immersive ideas, entertainment work and creative technology. A conventional gallery could show the output, but it would not explain the thinking or clarify what Makiya personally owned.
The challenge was to make a small-business client, an enterprise team, a collaborator and a recruiter feel oriented quickly without flattening the studio into a generic design portfolio.
Key decision
Layer the language.
- Decision
- Use plain-English project descriptions first, then place UX, product, technology and strategy terminology in tags, metadata and deeper sections.
- Why
- People should understand the value of a project before they need to understand the discipline behind it.
- Impact
- The same page can welcome a founder, satisfy a recruiter and give a larger organization enough signal to evaluate the work.
02 / Audience + architecture
One system, clearer routes.
The Work page is organized as Featured Case Studies, Original Brand World, Selected Work and a filterable Project Library. That hierarchy puts the strongest strategic work first while keeping the full range discoverable.
The Work page combines plain-language project descriptions with professional tags and discipline filters. Clients and hiring teams can evaluate web, product, brand and experience capabilities within the same portfolio.
03 / Development
From content problem to usable system.
Each substantial project receives a consistent information block covering type, client, role, scope, status, year, tools and ownership. Major case studies then explain the challenge, audience, strategy, experience structure, development and outcome.
A consistent project schema defines type, role, status, audience, strategy, deliverables and outcome. A structured Duda content collection is a next implementation step; this case study does not claim that a CMS migration has been completed. The portfolio continues to evolve through content and navigation revisions.
04 / Outcome
A portfolio that doubles as a product.
The current outcome is a live, responsive portfolio system with clearer project ownership, client-friendly language, recruiter-readable metadata, stronger featured-work hierarchy and discipline filters within the Work page.
Future evaluation can use truthful signals such as CTA engagement, project-page engagement, inquiry source, device usage, navigation behavior and inquiry conversion. Published portfolio work has contributed to inbound conversations about websites, branding and strategy. These are studio-reported outcomes, not measured conversion results. Inquiry-source fields now support future attribution. Analytics-provider connection and participant usability testing remain next steps; no traffic totals or user-test results are claimed.
Some concept imagery across the portfolio is AI-assisted visualization. The strategy, concept development, prompt direction, selection, refinement, layout, system thinking and final presentation are part of the LuCre8z creative process. Client photography and launched client deliverables are identified separately.
